As traveling artist we found it difficult to always find the best cameramen for our shoots or the best models for our videos. We tried instagram and other social media but sometimes (a lot of times lol) we got no response I can’t blame them its hard to weed out why a stranger is suddenly texting you, and sometimes the prices were way out of our budgets. The vetting process was sort of like, just take what we can get because we seldomly had options (although we’re very grateful for all the people we have worked with). Even when we were in our hometown it was a guessing game if this or that person was willing to work with us sometimes we’d have to ask several people to play a role and ultimately having to readjust because it didn’t work out. Even worse is when someone agrees to play a part in the creative process and is a no show. I needed lady singers for my songs and sometimes a male singer, or a shot in the video that matched my words and I thought how often do other artist have this problem and even more how often do creators have this problem. It would be much easier if I could just have options at my finger tips and choose who I thought was the best person for the best price and so Featrrr was born. After having it made horribly by a company I won’t name for a lot of money, I learned to code myself then hired to do what I couldn’t do. The team and I worked relentlessly til we had a product we were confident that would help creators visions come to life.
